After having driven under the handful of bridges that cross over I-80 in downtown Reno for years, I figured it might be time to spend a little time on top of one as well.
When I'm not exactly sure where I'll be shooting, I like to drive around and scan for things that may have previously caught my eye, and on this particular evening the Ralston St. bridge beckoned as a marvelous cloud formation moved over downtown Reno.
City traffic on the street was few and far between, which provided a nice buffer of safety in jumping out the car and creating this shot; and the (transient?) park dwellers up the street kept their distance, so I essentially had the street to myself just long enough to accomplish that moment's creative vision without interruption.
